A sales engine you actually want to use, with or without customers of your own.

Roughneck is the sales tool built for the oilfield. It is your CRM, but it does the part a CRM leaves to you: it reads the filings, preps the call, builds the quote and gets it signed. Bring the accounts you already have and it reads every one of them, so most of the thinking is done before you pick up the phone. Most CRMs are busy work. This one is the work. The oilfield hands who have tested it love it, and no other sales tool comes close, in the patch or out of it.

01

Find it

Every night it reads the state's own filings. Every morning the rep has a short list: the operator, the dated document, the person, the phone, and the first sentence.

02

Win it

Call it, quote it, sign it. A guided call with one-tap outcomes, a quote that comes up with the operator and the job already on it and your own rates behind it, and the customer signs from a secure link on his own phone. The win is the signature.

03

Keep it

Won accounts move to your customer list, and the list works for you. A visit clock from the last time you were there. MSA and rate-sheet dates so you get there before the renewal. Gifts and birthdays, tracked. An alarm the day your own customer moves wells out. And Events: the clay shoots, scrambles and boils where this business gets done, with the bell naming who you said you would see. Not a database. The way the patch does business, in your pocket.

Most CRMs wait for the rep. Roughneck goes looking.

It tells you who to call, why, what to say, and when to stop. Every line of it came off the state record.

The CRM you haveRoughneck
The record starts when somebody types it in.The record starts when the state files it.
The rep opens a dashboard and decides where to begin. The rep opens a reason to call, with the source attached.
Research, call notes and the quote live in three places. The filing follows the work from the first call to the signed quote.
The close leaves the CRM: a PDF, an email, a signature app.The whole close happens in Roughneck.
A won deal goes quiet.A won account keeps earning. It tells you what to watch and what to sell them next.
Every call and every note gets typed in afterwards, by the rep, for somebody else to read. The message is written for you. The call dials from here. You tap what happened, once.
It holds what you typed. Reading it, and explaining it, is your job.It reads every account and gives you the next move with the reason behind it. A new rep picks it up cold.

Where we read the record.

Every state that publishes a record, one at a time. 15 do, and 15 of them are read every night. Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Montana, West Virginia and Ohio are sending alerts today. North Dakota, Alaska, Wyoming and Arkansas are built and read every night, though the state's own record is still thin. 46,857 companies are on the state registers, counted 29 Oct 2026. Roughneck watches every one and puts the ones moving in front of you. Each state you pick is $75 a month, on top of one price for your whole shop.

The deal closes at the clay shoot. Now the app knows where that is.

The shoots, scrambles, boils, luncheons and expos from the oilfield orgs, in one list, filtered to the states you sell. The date, the town, what a team costs, and one button to the org's page for your spot. Tap the accounts you mean to find there, and the week of, the bell says who you said you would see.

Nothing leaves the app to get signed.

No PDF export. No email round trip. No signature subscription. He signs from a secure link on his own phone, you countersign, and the account is won before the phone is back in your pocket.

A signature service will sign your PDF. It has never heard of the operator. A CRM will build the quote and hand you back to your own email to send it. Both of them break the run in the same place, and the break is where a deal goes cold overnight. Roughneck has no seam there, because there is nothing to hand off to.

With The Handshake, sign a quote in the field and both of you walk off with a code. Anyone can type it in and see whether the copy in their hand is the one that was signed.
